Estifanos Alemu

senior Pastor

Pastor Estifanos Alemu is the Senior Pastor of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Minnesota (EECMN). He was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and came to faith in Jesus Christ at age 16. After moving to the U.S. in 1999, he became an active member of EECMN, serving in various ministries.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Bible and Psychology from the University of Northwestern in 2004, followed by a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University in 2006.
From 2007 to 2017, Pastor Estifanos served as EECMN’s youth and assistant pastor. In 2018, he accepted a pastoral role at a church in Richardson, Texas—then known as EGC, now Christ Tabernacle Church—where he served until 2023. That year, he returned to Minnesota to lead EECMN as its Senior Pastor, a role he embraced with the full support of the congregation.
Pastor Estifanos has been married to Meron since 2004, and together they have three children: Dagem, Blain, and Selam.

Daniel Feleke

Pastor Daniel Feleke, is the assistant pastor of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Minnesota (EECMN). He was born and raised in Ethiopia and decided to follow Jesus at a young age. He moved to the United States, and his first residence was Boston, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Boston for two and a half years, during which time he served as one of the elders. In 1995, he relocated to Minnesota, where he was a member of EECMN and participated in various ministries. In 1998, he attended Rhema Bible College for two years in Oklahoma, where he graduated in Mission and Leadership. He returned to Minnesota in 2001 and got
married. He has been happily married to his wife, Hirut, and together they have one child, a daughter named Haset Daniel.
