Children Ministry Welcome Message

We believe that children are able to absorb God's Word which is life and Spirit. We have carefully selected God-exalting and God-centered curriculum, in contrast to many of the merely entertaining and playful approaches to Sunday school. Depending on the Holy Spirit who is an ultimate teacher, our caring and qualified teachers teaches the Bible with passion (1 Cor. 2:9-10).

We the Sunday school teaches at Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Minnesota are committed to show the love of Christ to every child that comes to our church. We know that lives are not transformed through activities, games, or playful programs, but by the power of God's Word and Spirit.

At times like this we need the wisdom and power of God to clarify to our children's what it means to be a Christian more than ever before. We are facing many challenges including: cultural issues, finding effective ways to minister to children today, a generation of children and parents who are spiritually lost, and a generation of children who want to see God do something in their own life.

Sometimes it's easy to get off track, it's easy to look at things all around and feel overwhelmed with just how big our task really is; however, the power that God has given to the Christian parents and the church is greater than any of the challenges we face.

John, the apostle, in his first epistle to said, “You dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). We are of God and we speak from the view point of God. Neither this world nor Satan cannot have our children our children will serve Lord Jesus Christ, the only King.
